Tropical Recovery Smoothie

This smoothie is packed with protein and the beneficial nutrients found in pHKind Recovery capsules to aid muscle recovery, and leverages the power of both whole foods and targeted supplementation to support your body after exercise:

  • 1 cup frozen mango chunks
  • 1/2 cup frozen pineapple chunks
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened coconut water
  • 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 2 pHKind Recovery capsules (opened and contents poured in)
  • 1/2 inch fresh ginger, peeled (optional)

  1. Prepare your capsules: Open the two pHKind Recovery capsules and pour the contents into your blender.
  2. Add all remaining ingredients to the blender.
  3. Blend until smooth and creamy. You may need to add a little more coconut water if the mixture is too thick.
  4. Pour into a tall glass and enjoy!

Nutritional Benefits:

  • Protein: The protein powder and Greek yogurt provide a good amount of protein to help repair and rebuild muscle tissue.
  • Antioxidants: The mango, pineapple, and ginger (if used) are all rich in antioxidants which can help reduce inflammation and support overall health.
  • Electrolytes: The coconut water provides electrolytes like potassium and magnesium, which are important for hydration and muscle function.
  • Recovery Support: The pHKind Recovery capsules offer a unique blend of ingredients that may aid in muscle recovery, including L-arginine, branched-chain amino acids, glucosamine sulfate, Montmorency cherry extract and turmeric extract.

  • You can substitute the frozen mango and pineapple with other frozen fruits like berries or peaches.
  • If you don't have fresh ginger, you can use 1/4 teaspoon of ground ginger.
  • For an extra creamy texture, you can add a tablespoon of nut butter (such as almond butter or peanut butter) to the smoothie.
  • Feel free to adjust the sweetness of the smoothie to your taste by adding a drizzle of honey or maple syrup.
